Daniel Chen is a Chinese born, New Zealand artist currently based out of Melbourne.

Growing up on beautiful hill country in New Zealand, he has always had a unique view on the connection between sprawling landscapes and growing urban spaces. As such, he is deeply interested in telling stories about people and their lived environments.

Daniel’s work can often be described as “the feeling of a place”.

Daniel was awarded the Sigma D-Photo Amateur Architectural Photographer of the Year in 2019, and has had his work featured in editorials such as the New York Times Magazine.
